U.S. Border Patrol Agents in Buffalo stated they arrested a man with involvement in the international crime gang, Mara Salvatrucha, also known as MS-13.

30-year old Savier Ayala was found to be illegally staying in the U.S. back on September 30th. He was arrested and brought to the Buffalo Border Patrol Station to be processed.

Upon checking his record, it was discovered that Ayala had been removed from the country previously, back in 2010. He also received a DWI in North Carolina the same year.

Ayala has various tattoos that are consistent with MS-13 gang affiliation. He told agents that he joined the gang while living in North Carolina. In addition, he admitted to illegally entering the U.S. another time, back in 2014 near Douglas, Arizona.

Ayala is being held without bond pending removal from the U.S.
