A body was pulled from the Niagara River early Tuesday morning, according to Buffalo Police.
The deceased pulled from the water was a 48-year-old male.
The Buffalo Police Underwater Recovery Team (URT) responded the the scene where a call reported a man floating near Unity Island around 7 a.m.
The URT pulled the body from the river near the International Railroad Bridge shortly after.
Police have been looking for a body since May 8 when a male was spotted in the Niagara River around 3:30 a.m. Police say people tried helping the individual at the time, but were unsuccessful in their attempts.
Officials do not believe foul play was involved.
