The Buffalo Bisons are supporting a week long blood drive to help save lives in Western New York.

The Bisons are teaming up with Unyts from July 1-8 at four neighborhood donation centers. Donation centers are listed below:

Eastern Hills Mall Neighborhood Donation Center
4545 Transit Rd.
Williamsville, NY 14221

Southgate Neighborhood Blood Donation Center
984 Union Rd.
West Seneca, NY 14224
Tonawanda Neighborhood Blood Donation Center
96 Niagara Street
Tonawanda, NY 14150

Unyts Neighborhood Blood Donation Center
110 Broadway
Buffalo, NY 14203

Unyts is the primary supplier of blood products for Kaleida Health, Erie County Medical Center and hospitals in Niagara and Wyoming counties.

All donors will receive a pair of Bisons flex tickets, good for any home game, and be entered in a raffle for a Bisons suite.

This partnership comes at a time when current patients in local hospitals are in need of donated blood, especially types O negative and O positive. One pint of donated blood can help save up to three lives.

The Eastern Hills and Southgate Plaza locations will be open July 4 from 7 a.m. to noon.

Appointments can be made at www.unyts.org or call 716-512-7940.
