A proposal to roll back bar closing times from 4am to 2am has failed in Erie County.
The final vote was 7-3 with one abstention.
Of course, bars don't have to stay open until 4am. In fact, many choose to close earlier.
But supporters of the 4am closing time say now that this is debate is over, bar owners don't have to worry about losing any business.
