The Buffalo Zoo is thrilled to welcome a litter of North American river otter pups.
The male and a female pups were born on February 28 to mother, 11-year-old Ellie. The father of the litter is 9-year-old Rascal.
This is the second litter of pups born to the otter pair.
Keepers have named the pups Luke and Leia, in honor of the famous Star Wars siblings. The announcement was made May 4th, which is Star Wars Day. (May the 4th be with you. Get it?)
You can catch a glimpse of the pups in Otter Creek between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
