Akron man pushes girlfriend out of moving vehicle

State Police report they arrested an Akron man August 26 around 10:30 p.m. on assault charges. 

Troopers responded to a residence on Transit Road in Middlebury and found a bloody woman asking for help at the door, according to officials. 

46-year-old Ronald Watson allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face, pulled her hair, choked her and pushed her out of a moving vehicle in the Town of Covington. 

Watson is charged with Obstruction of Breathing, Reckless Endangerment, Assault and Menacing. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. 

He's set to appear in the Town of Covington Court on October 23 at 7:00 p.m.
