There's a new adorable sheriff in town.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office announced their latest addition to the K9 squad.

Two-year-old Kojak and Deputy Ashley Piel completed the Law Enforcement and Multi-discipline Crime Against Children Investigative Therapy Dog Course in Florida.

Kojak will be assigned to the Therapy K9 unit with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office. This K9 unit is assigned to the Alden School District.

The team will be deployed to help bring comfort to victims during school violence incidents, fatal accidents, and other traumatic incidents.
