September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Dessert Deli is teaming up with Courage of Carly Fund to help raise money. You can help by stopping by any Dessert Deli location and purchasing a delicious Cut Out Cookie specially made for Carly Fund. All proceeds go to this worthy cause. During a hard-fought battle with cancer, Carly Cottone Collard decided that she wanted help other kids who were also battling cancer and founded what was originally known as Carly’s Club. Although Carly faced cancer with amazing courage and optimism, she lost her hard-fought battle in August of 2002. But her legacy continues today through the Courage of Carly Fund, which will also serve children receiving treatment for blood disorders in the Katherine, Anne & Donna Gioia Pediatric Hematology Oncology Center at Roswell Park.
