The Como Park Garden has been a very busy place this spring. We started over spring break taking out the existing vegetable beds and adding 9 new vegetable beds and 2 new herb tire gardens.
Since then we have also added a perennial bed along the fence line and a small raised bed that we are going to be building a greenhouse over.
Since then we have been watering and weeding on a regular basis and even harvested some radishes and lettuce for the children to taste test before the school year ended.
Over the summer, we have quite the contingency of parents helping us to keep it watered, weeded and harvest what we need to.
