Lincoln Pool opens for the season to Ken-Ton residents

TONAWANDA, NY (WKBW) — Lincoln Pool in the Town of Tonawanda is now open for the season to Ken-Ton residents. A resident card, however, will be needed to access the facility which can be purchased at the Youth, Parks & Recreation office.

The main pool will be open daily with a maximum capacity of 75 people. The wading pool down the walkway will also be open daily with a maximum capacity of 50 people.

The operation schedule for the main pool is as follows:

- Lessons: Tuesday and Thursday from 9-11am
- Aquettes/LG Class: Monday-Friday from 11am-12pm
- Rec Swim: Daily from 12-5pm
- Titans: Monday-Friday from 5-6pm, Saturday-Sunday from 10am-12pm
- Family Swim: Monday-Friday from 6-8pm

Poolgoers have to bring their own chairs and blankets and will be spaced out six feet apart while on the perimeter of the pool area. A walkway has been taped off to help the flow of traffic, and only one person is allowed on the stairs and slide at any time. Pool staff will have wellness checks before their shifts begin and will be using their own equipment.

Showers and locker rooms are not accessible and bathrooms will be limited to one person or family at a time.

The Splash Park in Tonawanda is also open daily from 12-6pm and is free for anyone to use. The Jefferson Rec Center is also open for summer camps. More information can be found here.
