The Sabres re-signed Williamsville native Cole Schneider to a one -year, two way contract, the franchise announced on Thursday.
Schneider, who was acquired in blockbuster AHL deal with Ottawa, scored 56 points in split time between the Senators and Amerks.
He suited up two Sabres games, but did not register a point in more than 12 minutes of game time.
He scored four goals and added 10 assists with the Amerks in Rochester.
