Over a year ago, Buffalo Sabres forward Ryan O'Reilly was arrested and charged with impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene. According to police at the time, O'Reilly crashed his truck into an Ontario-area Tim Horton's.

In an appearance in court on Monday, O'Reilly was found not guilty of impaired driving according to Jane Sims of The London Free Press. According to the report, there was no reasonable prospect of conviction, and no more evidence to review which led to the final decision.

In all, the hearing lasted nearly two hours to find the Sabres center not guilty of the impaired driving charges. He did not face the failing to remain at the scene charge, according to Sims.

The 25-year-old O'Reilly is entering the first year of his 7-year, $52.5 million contract extension.
