The University at Buffalo men's basketball team learned on Sunday they are the No. 14 seed in the South Region of the NCAA Tournament. The Bulls' first-round opponent is No. 3 Miami (Florida). The Bulls and Hurricanes will play on Thursday in Providence at 6:50 p.m.
UB earned their spot in "the big dance" by topping Akron in Saturday's Mid-American Conference Championship game.
Buffalo is 20-14 overall. They went 10-8 in the MAC..
Miami is 25-7 overall. They went 13-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and lost to Virginia (No. 1 seed in Midwest Region) in the ACC semifinals.
