If you've heard it once, you've heard it a hundred times and there is a good chance you'll hear it hundreds of more times during Sean McDermott's tenure with the Bills.

He's calm, cool and collected -- a far cry from the brash style of Rex Ryan.  McDermott isn't one to make bold predictions. In fact, it's all about "the process" and getting better every day.

"He's definitely going to turn this team around," Bills Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas said Friday night in Rochester.

"This is the most confident I've felt in a head coach coming in here and really putting his stamp on the organization and also the players. I feel real good about it," he continued.

"Obviously that doesn't translate into win-loss records but I can tell you it'll be a more disciplined football team out there. They're going to play hard every single week. I know guys say that all the time but it just has a different feel with this guy and who the coach is and everybody that he's brought in."

Since joining the Bills in January, McDermott has worked to change the culture within the franchise. Slowly but surely he has, as Richie Incognito explained during an appearance on the NFL Network.

"The biggest different with Sean McDermott is he brings energy, passion and he's really expressing the football team loving one another" Incognito said.  "He's big on guys getting to know each other and building that winning culture."

"I'm most excited about the winning culture that we're forming and he's doing a bunch of cool activities like having guys speaking in front of the team about why football is important to them. I'm learning more about my teammates that I played with the last two years in a couple weeks of in Buffalo."

McDermott and the Bills begin their first training camp together on Thursday at St. John Fisher College.
