(WKBW) - Rex Ryan officially has his first job since being fired as the head coach of the Buffalo Bills.
According to Manish Mehta of The New York Daily News, Ryan has signed a multi-year contract with ESPN to become a regular member of Sunday NFL Countdown. Ryan had long been thought of as a shoe-in to make the switch to television once his time with the Bills came to a completion.
Ryan appeared on the network for the first time as a part of their Super Bowl coverage, and it appears he impressed in his debut as an analyst.
The Bills fired Ryan ahead of the final week of the season, and have since replaced him with new head coach Sean McDermott.
