The countdown to tip-off is on, in Buffalo. Starting Thursday, the Key Bank Center will be filled with excited basketball fans. But, the incoming storm could change plans for fans and teams.

Monday, four of the eight teams came by plane and by bus, including the top seed in the bracket, Villanova.

Coaches say it just made sense to get settled before the storm.

We got word that weather was going to be a little rougher, so we moved up our practice to get here early, always good to be in Buffalo, said Jay Wright, coach of the defending NCAA champions, Villanova Wildcats.

Back in Lewisburg, where we are from we were expecting about 14-18 inches to start overnight and into tomorrow so thought it would be better to get out and not have to deal with extra time on the road, said Nathan Davis, Bucknells head coach.
