Two men have pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide for the deaths of two young brothers under their watch who fell over a 70-foot waterfall in New York.
Wyoming County District Attorney Donald O'Geen says Friday that 32-year-old Chad Staley and 34-year-old Tyler Jennings were in charge of a group of five boys ages 5-12 that left a designated trail at Letchworth State Park in in June.
O'Geen says they had waded into the water to get a better view when all seven were swept over the falls.
Six-year-old Preston Giangregorio and his 9-year-old brother, Dylan, were killed.
Staley and Jennings face a maximum sentence of 1 1/3 to 4 years in prison. They remain free without bail until sentencing on May 17.
