A 17 year-old Buffalo father is under arrest, accused of critically injuring his infant daughter.

The incident happened Saturday afternoon on Abbott Road in South Buffalo.

Authorities say the nearly two month-old child suffered a fractured skull, broken ribs and other injuries.

She is listed in critical condition at Women and Children's hospital.

The child's father, Ziaire Davis, is charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Davis's arrest is also focusing attention the continuing problem of teenage pregnancies and parenting.
