Today's fatality on Niagara Falls Boulevard is by no means the first.
Tuesday marks at least the sixth death in the last 15 years on the 1.2 mile stretch of Niagara Falls Boulevard between Hennepin Road to Willow Ridge Drive.
In January 2001, four teens were hit and two killed at Hennepin Road.
Willow Ridge Road has seen the most fatalities. Jeraldine Tater was hit and killed in June 2013 and then Lisa Monaco in August of the same year. Another woman was hit and killed at the same intersection on June 5, 2015.
