An 8-month pregnant Buffalo woman, who was pinned between a school bus and her vehicle, is now under observation at Buffalo Women's & Children's Hospital.

Aleasha Timineri was attempting to place her 4-year-old son into a car seat when a bus traveling down Potomac Avenue slid and hit her.

Timineri was caught between her open Jeep Cherokee door and the vehicle frame.

She had to be freed by family members who said Timineri suffered injuries to her back and abdomen.

Her father and sisters tell 7 Eyewitness News that both mother and unborn child, named Bella, are in stable condition pending further tests.

The bus driver's name was not released, and Buffalo Police said no charges were filed.

However, the Timineri family is furious that the bus was driven so closely to a pedestrian.

Robert Timineri, her father, was also upset that Buffalo Public Schools were not closed on a day when the weather conditions were so bad.

The family says they are considering taking legal action, but their first concern in Aleasha Timineri and unborn Bella.
