RV craze sweeping across WNY and causing campgrounds to expand

Low interest rates and cheap gasoline have sparked a nationwide RV buying craze that is being felt here in Western New York.

Local RV dealers report record numbers of new RV sales and local campgrounds are having to take expansion steps to handle the increasing demand.

It is a good problem to have because the influx of local and national RVers means more tourism and money spent at local grocery stores and restaurants.

7 Eyewitness News reporter Ed Reilly spent the day talking to campers at Sprague Brook Park in Concord and the Branches of Niagara Campground & Resort on Grand Island.
