Willy Suleiman has taken an economic hit and the storms are to blame. The windows are boarded up at Depew Deli and Grocery.

“I got into the deli and it's like earthquake then the police department, they came in. They saw all the windows broken and they said nobody broke in, this is weather stuff."

Plows below by his business and the snow went flying through his windows, shattering glass. Suleiman was already hurt by having to stay closed but this is another setback.

“It’s just a disaster. Now I’m out of business for at least a week,” he said.

7 Eyewitness News found Kuljit Singh working to clear a path at his business with help from his brothers and father.

“It’s not only us, it's like every other business and anyone that's working is out of job right now so everybody is losing money,” Singh said.

The family owns the One-Stop Mini Mart gas station and car wash. He can’t even estimate how much the storm is costing them. But his biggest priority is his employees.

“I’m just trying to get them to work again,” he said.
