According to the Buffalo News, 25-year-old Jorge Suarez is a suspect in last Friday’s Anchor Bar shooting. It’s reported that he and the victim, Freddie Dizon, grew up together on Buffalo's west side.

The News cites a family friend who claimed Suarez was stalking Dizon days before the shooting.

Several of Dizon's Facebook posts last week may offer insight into this crime. Less than three hours before he was killed, Dizon posted "hide your kids this (expletive) is out. Do something (expletive). You see me out here every (expletive) day."

Dizon did not name anyone specifically in the post.

An hour later, Dizon issued another post writing, "go touch your own kids you (expletive) molester".  Just one minute later he wrote "you press everyone but me". His final comment was a reply to someone else on his facebook page. At 6:45 on Friday night he wrote "he's gonna get what's coming to him"

Meantime, friends and family gathered Thursday to say their final goodbyes. That includes Phyllis Santana who said Dizon's girlfriend also worked at Anchor Bar and she was there when he was shot. Santana described Dizon as a loving father.

“He didn't deserve to die. He was a good person. He went to work. That's more than I can say about a lot of men his age,” she said. “I hope they let the law do what the law is supposed to do and I hope they catch the person.”

On Monday, police arrested Gregory Ramos following a chase on Grand Island. Sources said he was the suspected getaway driver that night. But, so far, he hasn’t been charged in connection to the incident.

In fact, no one has been charged in connection to the shooting.

In a statement released Thursday night, a spokesman for the department said “Buffalo Police continue to make progress in connection with the Anchor Bar shooting incident. Detectives are diligently and aggressively following leads around the clock. At this time though, Buffalo Police have not charged anyone in connection with the shootings last Friday."
