According to the American Cancer Society, roughly 22,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer this year.
1 in 71 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
Most cases occur in women 63 and older and the risk of developing the disease increases with age.
Tuesday, we spoke with Dr. Emese Zisros from Roswell Park Cancer Institute of Buffalo, to get a better understanding of this disease, its warning signs and treatment options.
