Bishop Darius Pridgen, a Buffalo Common Council member, has a message for two young men he says smashed a window on True Bethel Baptist Church on East Ferry Street in Buffalo on Saturday night.

Pridgen says if the men come forward and replace the window by Wednesday night, he will back off the police complaint.

Pridgen says on Saturday night, the men used a rock to break the window and enter the building. Security cameras caught both suspects as they triggered a silent alarm. They were able to escape before police arrived. Pridgen describes both suspects as wearing hoodies. One hoodie had a UB logo on it. It's unclear what, if anything, was taken from the church.

According to Pridgen, he has pictures of both suspects that he will release with permission of detectives if the suspects don't come forward by Wednesday night. In a Facebook post, Pridgen said, "I don't want to see these two go to jail for a stupid decision to break into a church, but they must learn that this is not the path."
