State Police say a man was fatally shot in the Town of Collins around 1:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigators (BCI) say they responded to a shooting on Route 438.
Police have identified the victim as 31-year-old Dustin Sharp of Hamburg. Police say Sharp did not respond to lifesaving measures.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact State Police at SP Collins at 532-6820.
