Dunkirk police say a pedestrian who was walking along railroad tracks was hit and killed by a CSX freight train.
Investigators say they were walking along the CSX rail line just west of Middle Road. Officials say It looks like another person might have been with the victim at the time they were hit, and now police are asking them to come forward and speak with them about the incident.
Police say they aren't going to release the victims name until they can tell the family.
