There's a new newspaper in town and it's breaking boundaries - one paper at a time.

Rise Collaborative, an organization founded by Kevin Herrernan, Drew Brown and Bridget Schaefer, has been supporting small businesses and non-profits in the Queen City for quite some time. But for the past few months this trifecta has been focusing their energy on something else, "No Boundaries,"  their brand new free community-driven newspaper.

"No Boundaries" is a paper of positivity. Heffernan says, the goal is to change the way people are talking about certain underserved neighborhoods in Buffalo by shining a ray of positivity on them.

The focus is to highlight upcoming events happening on Buffalo's east and west sides as well as other neighborhoods. In addition, readers can learn about what's happening from the perspectives of contributing writers.

For their first push, 7,000 papers will be distributed throughout the city and select suburbs. Moving forward, their plan is to put together a second edition within 6 months and collect more sponsors and support along the way.

"No Boundaries" can be picked up at most places were free newspapers are available.
