Parking in the Elmwood Village will get easier this summer.
Beginning in April, the city will be changing its alternate parking rules for more than a dozen side streets, according to the Elmwood Village Association. This will add more parking spaces during prime summer months.
Currently, most streets have alternate parking during the day, whereby cars are restricted from one side of the street from 9am-4pm.
Alternate parking will end on certain streets starting April 1, and resume on November 1st, 2016.
