Buffalo police have arrested a 20 year old Buffalo man in connection with an overnight shooting in Lovejoy that had one man rushed to Erie County Medical Center.
Police say just before 2 a.m. in the 1000 block of Lovejoy, a group of people broke into a home. One of the suspects shot a 22 year old man. That man shot back, and hit Michael Murchison, investigators say.
Officers arrested Murchison on burglary charges, and responders brought the 22 year old man to ECMC where he is listed in stable condition.
Detectives say they are still looking for other suspects, and that they believe this may have been a targeted attack.
