ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) — A woman was killed in a house fire in Orchard Park on Friday.
Orchard Park Police received a call just before 11:15 a.m. reporting sounds of explosions inside a duplex on Ellis Road.
Volunteer firefighters from multiple agencies brought the fire under control while officers evacuated neighboring homes.
According to police, a 65-year-old woman was found dead inside the home. Her identity has not yet been released.
Damage is estimated at $800,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
