Fire officials say a call came in around 1 pm April 24th for a vehicle fire at Buffalo and Orchard Park Topsoil on North Benzing Road.

When firefighters arrived on scene, the fire had spread to the building, according to the Windom fire chief.

Ryan was found in the parking lot with burns and he was transported to ECMC where he was in critical condition, Orchard Park Police say he died as a result of his injuries Friday.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials believe it was an industrial accident caused by an acetylene torch.
