The Lakewood-Busti Police Department continues to investigate after a man reported there was a bomb in a Lakewood Walmart store.
Investigators say the unknown man made the report shortly after 10 p.m. Friday at the Walmart located at 350 East Fairmount Avenue. The man reported that the bomb was near the sporting goods department.
Investigators say employees and customers were evacuated and a search was conducted.
After the search, which involved K9 units, as well as the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office bomb team, no explosive device was found.
