A high school football game was suspended Friday night due to a large brawl.

Buffalo Police say the fight broke out during the second quarter of the St. Joes vs. Bishop Timon matchup at Tifft Field.

Game officials called off the game just after 7:30 p.m.

Buffalo Police escorted the St. Joe's players onto their busses after the game was called.

According to the Buffalo News, former Saint Joe's star and current starting quarter back for Ole' Miss, Chad Kelly, was spotted on the field during the incident. Kelly's brother is the current Saint Joe's quarterback.

In a Tweet, Coach Hugh Freeze says Chad Kelly has apologized for the way the situation was handled.

Police report no arrests at this time and no injuries at this time.
