Hear from two of the doctors who are now helping run Dr. Gosy's office.

Dr. Nancy Nielsen, Senior Associate Dean from U.B. Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and Dr. Robert Milch, a retired Hospice physician, discuss the opening of the office and share advice for Dr. Gosy's patients.

Dr. Eugene Gosy's office is now able to operate under a temporary arrangement where these two doctors,
and another from Hospice, Dr. Christopher Kerr, can oversee Gosy and Associates Pain and Neurology Treatment Center. The arrangement was worked out with help from Hospice and the NYS Department of Health.

The three doctors will be in place for 75 days giving patients time to get treatment and answers for their pain management problems. However, the long-term future of the practice is still being worked out.

7 Eyewitness News has learned that some nurse practitioners and Dr. Dave, who currently work in the practice, will be leaving their positions for other opportunities.

However, it is believed that Dr. Gosy is trying to recruit a full-time physician to come onboard to give the office stability for the future.
