Move over Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, it seems Buffalo is giving Groundhog Day a run for its money.
Flying Bison Brewing company hosted a pre-Groundhog Day celebration Saturday. The brewery even made a special beer for the event which helped to raise money for the Buffalo Zoo.
Adam Hernandez, an event organizer, says they came up with the idea after going to Punxsutawney, and deciding that Buffalo could do it bigger and better.
The groundhogs name is Buffalo Mac. The official Groundhog Day is Tuesday.
