Dennis Miciejewski says he's never seen it this bad.

The Buffalo man lives on Unger Avenue and he's talking about nearby Cazenovia Creek.

A massive ice jam and high water levels forced the creek to spill over its banks early this morning, flooding several nearby streets in South Buffalo.

"That's the highest I've ever seen it, kind of scary," said Melissa Miller who lives on Remington Place.

Neighbors were shocked to wake up Friday morning and find their streets flooded. Many of them spent the afternoon trying to pump water out of their basements. The issue was so bad, National Fuel went door to door checking each home and shutting off the gas to nearly 100 homes that were deemed too dangerous.
