A water main break shut down part of Delaware Avenue in Buffalo just before drivers hit the roads for the morning commute Thursday.
WKBW's breaking news crew learned it happened around 4:00AM, flooding the stretch near the Scajaquada Expressway, known as the S-Curves.
Crews were able to shut off the main, stopping the flow of water around 5:00AM.
Bulldozers were called in to clear dirt and debris that washed up onto Delaware Ave. from the break.
The S-Curves reopened around 6:30AM.
