A Cheektowaga man is under arrest, accused of producing and receiving child pornography, and investigators say he used the popular app, "Kik", to help carry-out his crimes.

Raymond Crum, 61, is accused of contacting a middle school student living in Kentucky in an effort to establish a so-called Dominance and Submission relationship. Investigators say the girl involved started communicating with Crum in October of 2014 when she was 12-years-old.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, the two communicated primarily using the app, "Kik." Investigators say the girl told police that Crum sent her "dirty" and "inappropriate" messages. The girl also reportedly sent nude pictures of herself to Crum.

When Crum's Cheektowaga home was raided last August, investigators say they seized evidence that revealed additional child victims, one of whom was a 15-year-old girl. According to investigators, this girl claims she also communicated with Crum using the Kik app.

Crum is currently being detained following a detention hearing set for March 9th.
