Two police officers were allegedly involved in an altercation that has left one officer charged with harassment and obstruction of breath.

The altercation involved Richard Hy, a Buffalo Police Officer, and an off-duty West Seneca Police Officer, who the department will not name.

The altercation happened with individuals who were filming a music video on cell phones.

Hy was charged with harassment and obstruction of breath and is expected to be in court on November 29.

The West Seneca Officer has not been charged, but an internal investigation is underway and the officer has been suspended.

Hy was previously suspended for violating the BPD's social media policy after posting inappropriate videos on his social media accounts.
