Amherst Police search for missing man

Amherst Police are searching for a missing Williamsville man. Police got a call about a missing resident Thursday night from Williamsville Suburban Residential Health Care Facility on South Union Road.

Staff members say 63-year-old Paul Cieslak is seen on security footage getting dropped off about 30 yards in front of the facility at 6:42 p.m. Thursday. He is then seen walking northbound on South Union Road, instead of entering the home.

Staff members say when they checked on residents at 10 p.m., Cieslak was missing.

Cieslak is described as a white male, about six feet tall, weighing 220 pounds, with gray hair and a gray beard. He was last seen wearing a red baseball hat, gray sweatpants, a black coat with fur, and black sneakers.
