When it comes to dynamic duos, you can't have one without the other,

That's exactly what West Seneca West has, a dynamic duo who call themselves "Bucket Bros."

Adrian Baugh and Juston Johnson are juniors on the Varsity squad who have had an on-court relationship since they were little.

"Me and Juston have been playing together with each other since we were 5 years old, playing AAU," Baugh said. "It's exciting to play at his old school so we get to turn the school around."

The duo transferred to West Seneca West from Bishop Timon and along with the rest of the team have helped lead the Indians to a perfect 15-0 record as of Friday morning.

First year head coach Desmond Randall has known both Adrian and Juston since they could understand what a play was and has enjoyed watching these two grow into consistent and hard-working players.

"When it comes to basketball, the bond they share as players, they've made a name for themselves now," Randall said. "It's great to see that and great to see them come into the limelight a little bit."

Adrian and Juston currently lead the team in scoring. Combined they average nearly 40 points so far this season. They also average nearly 15 assists, 16 rebounds and 8 steals a game.

But it's no friendship without a little competition.

"After the game we go home and compare stats and stuff and it's just fun having that competitive spirit and the chemistry with each other," Johnson said. "That builds chemistry, being competitive with each other."

With a year and a half left of Varsity basketball, Adrian and Juston are savoring their time playing together.

They're enjoying the ride and proving you don't have to share the same DNA to be "Bucket Bros".
