It may have taken two weeks for things to click but the Buffalo Bills are back in business. The Bills (1-2) beat the Minnesota Vikings (1-1-1) 27-6 on the road for their first win of the season.

Buffalo started off on a high note when they struck on their first drive of the game and never looked back. With a 17-0 lead after the first quarter, the Bills hung on and never let things get too tight. QB Josh Allen finished with 235 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns. Allen joins Trent Edwards as the only Bills quarterbacks to run for two touchdowns in one game since 1970. Running back Chris Ivory, starting in place of LeSean McCoy who was out with a rib injury, finished with 126 all-purpose yards.

The defense, after struggling in the first two games, looked like a completely different unit. They finished with four sacks, two fumble recoveries, and an interception. They also held Minnesota to just 46 yards of offense in the first half, the fewest the Bills have allowed in a first half since 2004.

The Bills will get back to work this week and travel to Green Bay for week four. Kickoff is set for Sunday, September 30th at 1 p.m.
