For the first time in nearly two years Richie Incognito is back playing football.

The 32-year-old sat out the final eight games of the 2013 season and missed all of 2014 after being suspended by the Dolphins following a bullying scandal.

On Sunday, Incognito will return to the Sunshine State and battle his former teammates in Miami.

"I'm excited to go down there and compete against these guys," Incognito told reporters on Tuesday. "I still have a lot of close friends on the team and within the organization. So anytime you get a chance to go down and compete against your biddies is really special so I'm really looking forward to it."

The guard says the matchup won't be anything "personal."

"I think it's one of those things wherein professional sports you kind of cross paths with one of you old teams, and you want to give it to them, you want to play well and you want to come away with a win," he said.

"Especially since I'm so close to some of those guys and have been competing with them for so long, it's like a brotherly love," he continued. "You want to kick your brother's butt in anything you do so it's going to be fun to go down there and compete with them."

Both the Bills and Dolphins are 1-1 on the season after Buffalo lost to New England and Miami to Jacksonville.

Incognito was signed by the Bills to help shore up an offensive line that yielded the worst rushing attack in franchise history and surrendered 39 sacks a year ago.

Against the Patriots first year starter Tyrod Taylor was sacked eight times and knocked down an additional 10 when he dropped back to pass.

Through two games, and even with the offseason acquisition of star defensive tackle Ndomukong Suh, the Dolphins have only managed one sack.

However, the Bills offensive line will have its hands full against Suh and Cameron Wake, who Incognito used to be teammates with.

"I've got a little insider tips on dealing with a couple of those guys," he said. "They're a talented group. Cam Wake is one of the best pass rushers in the league. They've got Oliver Vernon over there who I think is very good, solid ball player. They've got (Ndamukong) Suh, who is obviously all world."

The Bills and Dolphins kickoff at 4:25 on Sunday.
