Bills Mafia proves no one circles the donations like they do

NASHVILLE, TN (WKBW) — Do you remember when Bills Mafia raised over $400,000 for the Andy and J.J. Dalton Foundation after the Bengals win propelled the Bills to the playoffs for the first time in 17 years? Well, they're at it again.

Over the last few weeks the NFL on Fox Twitter account has been holding an NCAA Bracket style Twitter poll in honor or March Madness to find the best fan base in the NFL.

The Bills made it to the final four and were in the lead until the Titans made a late comeback to win.

Rumors began to swirl that Titans fans purchased votes to help them win.

The Bills even got in on the fun, tweeting a puzzled Josh Allen GIF to the NFL on Fox account.

Bills Mafia decided to prove that no one circles the donations like they do and instead of putting their money towards a Twitter poll, they began donating to the Nashville Children's Alliance.

Shelby Waddle, wife of new Buffalo Bills offensive lineman LaAdrian Waddle, began the campaign.

7 Eyewitness News received a statement Wednesday afternoon from a spokesperson from the Nashville Children's Alliance stating that Bills Mafia has already raised over $10,000 as of that time.

"We are totally overwhelmed and grateful for the generosity of #BuffaloMafia! We were speechless this morning when the donations began pouring in from Buffalo fans. We work every day to provide intervention, hope, healing and justice to child abuse victims and all services are free of charge. Therefore, the incredible response of the Buffalo Bills nation helps children in crisis in Nashville receive the assistance that they need and certainly deserve. Thanks to the Buffalo Bills Fans we have just reached over $10,000 in donations. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts."

As of Thursday morning Bills fans have now raised over $15,000.
