Buffalo Bills linebacker IK Enemkpali will be suspended by the NFL for the first four games of the season, according to the Associated Press.
The ban stems from Enemkpali punching and breaking the jaw of New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith when the two were teammates last month.
Enemkpali is currently on the Bills practice squad.
Smith is expected to miss at least the first four games of the season while recovering from the broken jaw. He says he is not pressing charges against Enemkpali.
