We're Hiring! Looking for help as WNY begins phase one of the state's reopening process

CHEEKTOWAGA, NY (WKBW) — As Western New York begins phase one of the state's reopening process, job ads are being posted as some businesses and organizations look for additional help. Below is a short list of businesses or organizations looking to hire right away for various positions.

1.) Latina Boulevard Foods (as featured above):
The food distribution company is locally owned and operated with their warehouse located in Cheektowaga and their produce center in Tonawanda. They service area restaurants, pizzerias, schools, casinos, hospitals, among others. As more restaurants start to open for take-out and prepare to open their dining rooms as the reopening process continues, Latina Boulevard Foods is looking for additional help. 2.) Community Services for Every1 (as featured above):
The organization aims at helping people of all abilities reach their full potential and live the most independent life as possible. Over 40 programs are offered with offices all throughout Erie County. They also provide residential housing in neighborhoods throughout Western New York. Right now, they're primarily looking for Direct Support Professionals who can help lift up their group home and community residents during these trying times. That could involve playing games with them, teaching them how to grocery shop, or help them create gifts for the families they can't see right now. 3.) Tops Friendly Markets:
The grocery store chain is still open during the Pandemic and has been busy stocking shelves with essential items. They're also trying to keep the inside of their stores as safe as possible by implementing rigorous sanitization protocol, requiring visitors to wear face coverings, and promoting a safe distance while shopping and checking out. Tops is currently looking for a part-time warehouse inspector and are continuously hiring in store for full-time, part-time, and temporary positions. 4.) Local eateries like Frank's Gourmet Hot Dogs and Greek to Me:
The restaurants in Kenmore (Frank's) and Tonawanda (Greek to Me) are still open for business during the Pandemic. Frank's Gourmet Hot Dogs isn't just serving food to customers, they're giving back to the community.On May 11th they posted a job ad to their Facebook page looking for line cooks and community service ambassadors. You can find their job ad here. Greek to Me recently created a food market inside their restaurant where people can buy fresh fruits and vegetables. 5.) Vinyl Outlet:
The family owned and operated business is a major provider of vinyl fences, decking, and railings in the greater Buffalo area. You can visit their website and submit an application here.

6.) Buffalo City Mission:
Buffalo City Mission's vision is to restore hope to the homeless and hurting of Western New York. They provide shelter and meals to thousands in the area along with recovery programs.
