Buffalo Police say a 14 year-old girl was attacked outside her home Saturday night.
Police say around 10:00 a.m. the girl was approached on Abbottsford Place by a man who violently choked her.
According to authorities, neighbors and other people in the area were able to subdue him.
The 29 year-old suspect has been charged with attempted murder.
The young girl was taken to Women and Children's hospital where she was treated and released.
The name of the suspect has not been released.
