A woman was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in the Lovejoy neighborhood.
The incident happened around 11:15 p.m. Thursday along the first block of Gold Street.
Reports said a woman in her 40s was hit by a car at a high rate of speed.
She was taken to Erie County Medical Center with a serious leg injury.
