Friday was the perfect day for the first round of golf at Moon Brook Country Club, in Jamestown. With plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s the greens were packed.
The temperatures varied wildly in Western New York. In Buffalo, there was nothing spring-like. High temperatures struggled to reach the upper 40s.
“We just don't know when we're going to get to spring. We had a bad Sabres season and everything has been downhill so far this year,” said Kristian Jusko.
Depending on where you were Friday, it was the best of times or the worst of times; a real tale of two Western New Yorks.
